ConnectSIP SIP Trunking

This guide connects a ConnectSIP SIP trunk to Live Hub. Complete the following steps:

1. Order the SIP trunking service from ConnectSIP
2. Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

Order the SIP trunking service from ConnectSIP

To order the SIP trunking service from ConnectSIP:

1. Go to ConnectSIP, click Sign Up For Free, and then fill in your contact details.
2. ConnectSIP contacts you and provides detailed information about your account. The account information includes the SIP username and SIP password that you need to configure Live Hub.

Create a SIP connection in Live Hub

To create the SIP connection that represents your ConnectSIP SIP trunking account:

1. Log in to Live Hub.

2. In the Navigation pane, select SIP connections, and then click Add new SIP connection.

3. Select the General tab, and then under the General group:

   1. In the 'Name' field, enter a unique SIP connection name (for example, ConnectSIP).
   2. From the 'Provider type' drop-down list, select SIP Trunk.
   3. From the 'Provider' drop-down list, select ConnectSIP SIP Trunk.

4. Under the Registration and authentication group:

   1. From the 'Registration' drop-down list, select Enabled.
   2. In the 'Contact name' field, enter the {sipUsername} that ConnectSIP provided.
   3. Under Credentials, enter the {sipUsername} and {sipPassword} that ConnectSIP provided.

5. Click Create.
